Mummy emotions really welled up after reading Charmine's blog. It really reminded her of the time when I was hospitalized for ITP. She hopes that by posting this entry, it will bring more awareness of the appeal for donation.
Countdown to Maternity Leave – Outing Part III, My First Movie
During Daddy and Mummy’s “patoring” days, watching movie is one of their common time-killing activities for them. For now, it is really an luxurious activity with us around.. hehe..
Noticing that I was rather ‘hooked’ on certain movies and being able to sit throughout the 2 hours movie at home and of course the ‘Barney show’ I have attended recently, Daddy suggested to ‘test water’ by bringing me to watch movie for the very 1st time!
As we were late, by the time we went in the cinema it was already pitch dark and the sound was deafening.. I was literally clinging on to Daddy for life! But when the show started, I started to warm up and keep asking them questions throughout the movie.. Daddy got to even remind me to lower my voice…
So what did I watch for my 1st movie?? Tata..
Mummy was also very impressed that Shaw do provide booster seats for kids.. And of course entry is FOC for kids.. What a deal! Look at the rows of Booster seat behind me!
Anyway today also marks the end of Mummy’s maternity leave.. I will be back to my normal day of staying with Ah Mah over the weekends.. :(
I know counting
To be honest I am not very scholarly… Mummy always got to reinforce her teaching many many times before it sink into me… She wonders if there is going to be the way I study next time as well. Or something is wrong with the way she teach? Hehe..
Anyway, there’s me counting from 1 to 10.
Countdown to Maternity Leave–Outing Part II
Countdown to Maternity Leave–Outing Part I
Before Mummy proceed back to the workforce, she had promised me a couple of things.. And that is to spend quality & fun time with me.. Hence, one of the places that she had been wanting to bring me to.. That is the Kidz Amaze at Safra Jurong.. But Mummy was pretty disappointed at how un-adventurous I was, coz I am scare of climbing upwards and keep sticking at one location.. But nevertheless I still had a fun time there.. Well objective still achieved isn’t it!
It's the countdown...
of my maternity leave. Time really flies, this is the last week that I will be at home with my darlings. Although during this 3 month plus of leave, I had always complaint of being like a slave/maid to the kids and house and had been somewhat looking forward to return to the workforce. However when it it nearer to the date, the feeling of loss is creeping in stronger day by day..
In order to prep Jareth that I would not be taking care of him full-time from next week. I had to remind him everyday that I will be going to work soon. His reaction would always be a strong word, and that is "Mai!" (It means "dun want" in hokkien.) This reaction even brings sadness in me.. Recently his reaction took a change... This is our conversation..
Mummy: "Jareth, Mummy will be gg to work soon ya, you got to stay at Ah Ma's house ok?"
Jareth: (pointing to his nose) "Jareth boy work work"
Mummy: "You mean Jareth boy and Mummy go work work?"
Jareth: "Jareth boy, Mummy work work"
Hahaha.. Kids are really so smart nowadays.. As what the saying is, "If you can't get the mountain to move, you move yourself." Since he knows he can't stop me from going to work, he will go with me instead.
For those who are close to us would know that Jareth has always been sticky to my hubby but recently he has been asking for me instead. Sigh... Hopefully this 3 months plus of bonding will not go to waste..
Happy Father's Day
Happy 1st Month Didi Callum
Didi Callum is the fruit of labour for Yi Yi Sandy and Uncle Jeffery. See how big Didi is.. :)
As Gu Ma and my cousins are around, Mummy had no problem leaving Didi and me with them while she goes to Didi Callum's 1st month party. Although I can't attend the party, but hereby I wish Didi Callum healthy and happy..
My cousins are here..
Milk?
This is really a very contradicting T-shirt that Didi is wearing, as Mummy is going gaga over the milk intake for Didi. Initially Didi has been drinking about 4.5 oz of milk every 3 hours, but it seems that he has been refusing milk for the past few days. When Mummy try to push the teats into his mouth he would scream and cry as if we are torturing him. Even if Mummy try to latch him on, it would yield the same effect.. She has tried all ways like rocking him while feeding him or to wait till he sleep. Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't. Mummy has read from the forum that she is not the only one facing his problem. But she is still worried that Didi is not getting enough. Moreover Didi has not pass motion for more than a week liaoz. Although it is also very common for TBF babies but she wonders if it is due to that that Didi is not drinking well?? Other than that, Didi has been active and happy. Think she will monitor for another few days before bringing Didi to see a pd.
Mmmm.. She hopes that it is a passing phrase and Didi's milk consumption will be back to normal again.
The 7 Habits
It is not the 7 habits of highly effectively people, but 7 habits that Mummy detest about me.. And that is:
1. After drinking 1 full bottle of milk before I sleep, I still insist on having somemore even thou I am already full
2. Lazy to chew food ending up choking and vomiting out all the food
3. Passing motion on the diaper even thou I can tell Daddy and Mummy about it
4. Refuse to keep my toys after playing
5. Vomit after crying excessively
6. Take own sweet time when ask to do things
7. Cry while sleeping (han bing)
Mummy hopes that I will overcome these habits very soon..
The Little Big Club Show
The show that I have been waiting for!
Everytime when I saw the advertisement in TV, I would always tell Mummy that I wanna go! She has bought the tickets as early as April hence we managed the get to sit the front row! However she realised that there is a further discount for Toy R Us card holder.. Arggg.. Well, that's the price to pay for being in the front row bah.
When watching the show, Mummy noticed that I had been very reserved. While other kids are like jumping and dancing away, and I am stuck to my seat. So Mummy thought I did not really like the show very much.
However to her amusement, when the show ended I started to cry and refuse to get down my seat. Mummy had caught me on video when I was crying. So mean of her... Anyway I thought there would be more performance as there was a 15 mins break earlier so I keep saying.. "Wait ah.. Wait ah". It was only after much persuasion and realising that every one had moved that I decided to move on.. *Sob sob!*
Even after days of watching the show, I would still tell Daddy and Mummy that I wanna go watch Barney and would cry when they tell me no more.
Luckily Mummy did video down parts of the show, at least I can reminisce the happy moments. Do visit my you tube if you wanna have a snap shot of the show ya..
Hair Cut
This is Mummy's very first time bringing me for a hair cut, as it has always been Daddy who brought me there. However Mummy is very please with my 'performance' as I have sat there without even figetting. All thanks to the sweet that the barber has given me.
Thomas the Train
Mummy had wanted to bring me to see the Thomas and Train show at Marina.. But sigh, we were late for half and hour and the show had already ended. What a waste! So this is the only picture we took on that day.
My brand new BFM Bicycle
Wondering what BFM stands for? We have no idea as well. Mummy decided to call it, "Bicycle For Male". Sounds logical? For you to decide.
See how I enjoy pedaling on my new bike.
