Jareth Copperfield? Hehe..
Confession
Sometimes Jareth really drive me nuts over things.. Especially at times when I have only “1 nerve” left and he still tramper on it! This is especially in the following situations:
- Tantrum throwing when he doesn’t get this way, would start to whine, shout, throw things and even hitting.
- Bully Didi, step on his hands and snatch toys away from him.
- Would insist that I take the bottle from him after he has finished drinking.
- Deliberately do things when I told him not to.
- Don’t wanna keep his toys after playing, although he promised that he would keep.
- Don’t wanna bathe, but would not come out after bathing.
There are just so many idiosyncrasies of him that I can’t think of right now. But when he gets to some of the above rituals, it really make me lost my cool. (I did use the cane to whip him on the leg)
There are even times when insane thoughts such as punching him and making him suffer did come to my mind. This is especially so when I am alone with the 2 kids at home. Of course this is just a thought, and I am glad that it never did realised, Jareth is still in one piece and I am still sound! Thank god!
However after executing the corporate punishment, it really pains me… And would apply zambak on him afterwhich..
Sigh.. It’s really not easy to be a mum or even good mum. Although most of the books about parenting would advocate about positive reinforcement, using positive words, refine from corporate punished etc, however when you are in the situation where fire is already burning wildly, all these would just be thrown out of the window!
Or is it because my EQ is not strong enough? Sigh sigh sigh.. Maybe I should be attending some kind of a anger management classes.. Should I? Arggg..
World Kindness Day
13 November marks the “World Kindness Day” Mummy decided to do this little arts & craft with me to make Gerberas! One for Didi and one for me.
You can refer to this website for the print-outs and instructions:
Weaning
Mummy had started giving solids to Didi only when he is about 6 months old. Didi is still not very keen on the solids given to him, some of the food that Didi tried are:
- Baby rice cereal
- Apple
- Potato
- Papaya
- Banana
- Yogurt
- Porridge
- pumpkin
Mummy hopes to introduce more solids to Didi and hopefully his appetite would increase!
Love Playing with Didi
Mummy captured this video of me playing with Didi, but she had totally forgotten about it until she was reviewing the photos in the camera. Enjoy!
Didi at 8 Months
Didi is quite an advance developer, given that he is a preemie. To have a more accurate reflection he is only 6 1/2 months and he is already crawling, sitting steadily and even pulling himself to stand. Kiddos Didi!
